Frequently asked questions
How does dog walking work?
Search for walkers in your area, read reviews and profiles, then book a walk that fits your schedule. Your walker will pick up your dog, take them for a walk, and return them home. You can choose one-time walks or set up recurring walks.
How much does a dog walk cost?
Pricing varies by walk length and your location. 30-minute walks typically start around $20–25, and 60-minute walks around $30–40. Recurring walks often qualify for a discount.
Are dog walkers background-checked?
Yes. All walkers on our platform complete a thorough background check before they can accept bookings. We verify identity and run criminal background checks.
Can I meet my dog walker before the first walk?
Absolutely. We recommend scheduling a meet-and-greet before your first walk so you and your dog can get to know the walker. Many owners do this at no extra cost.
Will I get updates during the walk?
Yes. Walkers send GPS-tracked maps and often share photos or notes. You can see when your walk started, the route taken, and when your dog was returned home.
What if my dog has special needs?
You can note medical needs, behavioral quirks, and preferences in your dog's profile. Many walkers have experience with reactive dogs, seniors, or pups who need extra care.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
You can cancel or reschedule through the app. We ask for at least 24 hours notice when possible. Cancellations inside 24 hours may be subject to a fee depending on your walker's policy.
